 Did not like products inability to uninstall properly. Had to go back using restore point.Using windows 7
 They don't tell you that you need admin rights on any computer you are going to use your locked folder on - or alternatively that you need to pursuade your network administrator to allow the folder lock 'driver' - and I mean driver not software programme - to be installed on an individual computer prior to being able to access the locked folder on any computer.I now have a licensed copy of Folder Lock which I can't use because my network administrator won't play ball. The vendor responded to one email but no more - ignoring my request for ...
 Your folder lock seems to be good. But I am afraid of using it for the reason sometime back I was using another folder lock downloaded from CNET free download. After using it for sometime it would not open and release my documents. It did not open at all and I lost files around 30 GB. Will your folder lock behave like this?KAUSIK

 Very satisfied! Was exactly what I was looking for; Password protect my usb files. Did not use any other features yet, because I was looking for password protect only at this time.
Little experience, but It seems to do all I want to do. I especially like it that I can hide the fact that a security program exists, at least on my desk top.Tasks: Share this machine but keep personal files secret: Money, legal etcThe program quickly hides those files and are secure behind a complicated password. It is highly unlikely those files can be found.

I don't like it at all, as it's required that it's installed on every computer where you wish it.
 Tried Folder Vault I downloaded and tried this program. Because it would not allow really hiding the vault in the trial, I dumped it. I wanted to see if someone could find the vault but was informed it would stay on the desktop unless purchased. I would advise the author to make it a limited time use like 15 days rather than limit the trial. I have sold many shareware programs of my own and found that to work. Arno
 How to Open the vault. I used the Folder vault to hide my files in my e drive and unfortunately I also put my e drive in the Vault, is there a way I can open the vault and get my files back? These are work related files, and I need them pronto, urgent! I hope you guys can help me.

 Complicated No user info or help files of any kind. Trial software expired in 5 days not 30 days as listed. Could not get it work the way I wanted it to.
